ATV Training

ATV’s are used to guide us off a beaten path or assist us through some rough terrain.  Sometimes our relationships get off the right path or need some guidance through rough terrain and at Emotion Station we incorporate ATV training to get our relationships back on track and off the rough terrain.  Below is an insight into our ATV training and how it can enhance your relationships.

Awareness = Awareness to who your partner is and what their identity is.  Awareness allows for tolerance.  Awareness to past relationship history, behaviors, and patterns.  Awareness to past relationship history gives insight  to what one may be capable of .  Awareness to behaviors and patterns can help us change our expectations for our partners making them more realistic, setting the foundation up for success.  Awareness to the love language that your partner speaks.  Awareness allows for a more in-tune relationship which can produce a harmonious tune.

Triggers =  Triggers to any past resentment, anger, or trauma.  Triggers to any past resentments or anger allows insecurity to develop and allows projection of past relationship failures.  Triggers to any past trauma ensures we do not create an environment that allows our partner to relive any of the symptoms. Triggers to emotions are important because we cannot discount our partners emotions therefore an understanding what drives negative emotions helps create more understanding.  Understanding triggers in conflict resolution also avoids frozen or bigger conflicts.

Vulnerability = As humans we are not always comfortable feeling vulnerable.  In relationship if we are constantly feeling vulnerable it can cause us to shut down or drive a wedge in the relationship that may not be repairable.  Taking a one up stance with your partner eliminates equality and can create vulnerability which can affect emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and long-term the relationship foundation.
